Tony Kiser Theater Rules
Tony Kiser Theater wants every guest to have an enjoyable visit. To promote their goal of undisrupted entertainment, they have a set of rules and policies that all attendees should be aware of. Failure to abide by the following rules and policies may result in expulsion from the venue. Individual events and shows may have additional or altered rules, so please be sure to check your ticketed event guide or program for details. Accessibility Policy
Tony Kiser Theater is dedicated to doing its part to make sure everyone can enjoy shows, events, and productions equally. That’s why, in addition to wheelchair accessibility, the venue offers a variety of services to be as accommodating as possible. These accommodations include:
- Elevators are available in the box office lobby that provides access to all levels of the theater, including the Fassst Cafe and the restrooms. Removable seats are available in the first and last rows (Rows A and O) to accommodate wheelchairs. Additional assistance and accessible seating may be requested by calling 212-541-4516.
- Tony Kiser Theater is equipped with Infrared Assisted Listening Devices. You may obtain these devices at the Fassst Cafe upon request. Patrons will require a valid form of ID to receive a device, which will be returned at the end of the performance once the device is returned. Tony Kisser Theater recommends turning off your hearing aid while using Infrared headsets for optimal performance.
- Open Captioning is available for one performance during each production playing at The Tony Kiser Theater. During these shows, the text will be displayed at the side of the stage with dialogue and sound effects from the stage in real-time. - Audio Description is provided for one performance during each production run at The Tony Kiser Theater. During these performances, visually impaired patrons are provided commentary and narration guiding the listener through the show with descriptions of scenes, settings, costumes, etc in between dialogue or songs. Please call ahead at 212-541-4516 to ask about the date of a show’s audio description performance will be or visit this website for more information.
Arrival Policy
Arriving late may result in guests being asked to wait in the lobby until a designated break period. To avoid frustration, Tony Kiser Theater recommends that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before a ticketed event to make sure you have plenty of time to find parking and get to your seat.
Bag Policy
Event staff reserves the right to inspect any bags for inspection. Guests have the right to refuse searches and event staff reserve the right to deny entry. Prohibited items that are not illegal may be returned to a guest’s vehicle or disposed of before entry.
Cancellation Policy
Tony Kiser Theater will make every effort to announce cancellations due to severe weather or artist cancellation as soon as possible. If your ticketed event is canceled, please call 212-541-4516 to ask about rescheduling or ticket refund procedures and policies.
Children Policy
Some shows or events may not be appropriate for younger children. Please refer to the event description or program guide for help in selecting the right events for your family. Please refer to the event description regarding whether younger children require their tickets. If you are not certain, you may call 212-541-4516 for help.
Food Policy
Outside food and drink are not allowed in the theater for most events and shows. The event program will announce if it is different for a specific show or event. Tony Kiser Theater has refreshments available from The Fassst Cafe.
Lost and Found Policy
Lost an item at an event? You can ask event staff for help with finding the lost and found service. You can also call 212-541-4516 after the show. Please be prepared to leave your full name, contact information, and a detailed description of your lost item. Tony Kiser Theater does not claim responsibility for your lost possessions.
Prohibited Items
Tony Kiser Theater events restrict certain items for safety and contract reasons. While some events may vary, the following is relevant to most productions. Please contact Tony Kiser Theater at 212-541-4516 if you have any questions or refer to your ticketed event description and program.
- Backpacks may be subject to search by event staff
- Outside drinks, coolers, cans, cups, bottles, and beverages
- Knives, guns, and any type of weapons or explosives
- Professional cameras and recording equipment are usually not allowed during concerts and festivals
- Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
- Laser pointers
- Noisemakers, whistles and air horns
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Animals (except service animals)
- Personal property or clothing that is a potential hazard to others (e.g. chains, wallet chains or jewelry with spiked edges)
- Signs, clothing, or posters featuring offensive imagery or text
